Directions to the Scovill Street Garage

Please note: All UConn vehicles using the Scovill Street Garage must use the fifth or sixth level. All UConn students with a valid UConn parking decal will not be charged for using the garage. Simply return the garage ticket to the attendant when exiting the facility. Students parking without a decal will be charged accordingly.

From I-84 Eastbound (Danbury-Waterbury):

Take exit 22; at the bottom of the ramp turn left onto South Main Street. Turn right onto Scovill Street. The entrance to the Scovill Street Garage is one half block on the left.

From I-84 Westbound (Hartford-Waterbury):

Take exit 22 Union Street; at the bottom of the ramp turn left onto Union Street. Proceed to the 3rd stoplight. At the 3rd light turn right onto South Elm Street. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Scovill St. (St. Mary's Hospital ER is on the right.) Take the second entrance to the Scovill Street Garage, one half block on the right.

From Route 8 North (Bridgeport-Waterbury):

Take exit 31 onto 84 East. Take exit 22; at the bottom of the ramp turn left onto South Main Street. Turn right onto Scovill Street. The entrance to the Scovill Street Garage is one half block on the left.

From Route 8 South (Winsted-Waterbury):

Take (lefthanded) exit 32, Riverside Street. Take a left at light onto Freight Street. At end take a right onto Meadow Street and a slight left onto Grand St. Turn left onto South Main Street. Turn right onto Scovill Street. The entrance to the Scovill Street Garage is one half block on the left.
