About Career Services

The Waterbury Campus of the University of Connecticut offers Career Services for students.
Susan Hyde-Wick, MS, LPC, can assist students with all phases of the career development
process, from helping to clarify values, interests and personality preferences to
identifying a satisfying career path.

Regardless of how confused students may feel about majors and careers, the office can help
with making informed decisions through:

  • hour-long one-on-one career counseling appointments
  • researching careers
  • securing internships
  • employer networking

In addition, students can receive assistance with resumes, interviewing and the job search.
The office sends out a bi-monthly newsletter highlighting career development events and job
and internship opportunities.

The Career Services office is also the liaison between the Office of Study Abroad at Storrs and Waterbury UConn and can assist students who want to experience living in a different culture.
