Please read the following information to make your registration experience smoother:
1. Meet with your academic advisor, listed on your PeopleSoft Student Center. Your advising bar will not be lifted until you met with your advisor.
2. Clear up any holds (besides the advising hold which will be lifted by your academic advisor). The two most common are Bursar (you owe money) and Immunization (Freshman and Transfer students that did not send in their Immunization form). You will not be allowed to register until all holds have been lifted.
3. On your PeopleSoft Student Center check under Enrollment Appointment (lower right hand side, click details) for your specific date and time you can begin to register.
A number of advisors use the Advapp online appointment system. Here is the list of Waterbury advisors that use it:
To make an appointment on Advapp, go to http://advapp.uconn.edu At the drop down menu choose “Hartford, Waterbury, Torrington” and then select your advisor. Please only choose the advisor assigned to you. Also, if you make an online appointment, but then cannot attend please log back into Advapp and cancel your appointment. Many advisors have a huge advising load so appointment times are valuable commodities.
