The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Connecticut is an academic cooperative that provides mature adults with opportunities for intellectual development, cultural stimulation and social interaction. Our programs are centered around classes developed and taught by members who volunteer their time and talents to share their knowledge and interests with other members. The OLLI program also sponsors special events featuring noted authors, scholars and experts in respected professional fields.

“OLLI Member Quotables”:

The OLLI program is a nice experience – I have encouraged many friends to participate.

Provides an excellent opportunity to get out, socialize, exercise the brain and to be exposed to topics I either wasn’t able to do in college or was afraid to consider.

Excellent program. Have already highly recommended it to friends.  It is well organized – every step of the way and seniors are not talked down to.

This is my first encounter with OLLI. I think it is a wonderful program.

The friendly, relaxed atmosphere is inviting. The program is well organized and presented in a friendly way.

The entire OLLI is outstanding: topics and presenters are excellent and the OLLI Café sessions are just as interesting as the classes.
